Green Beans with Roasted Nuts (Makes 8 servings):

  • 1 packet of Verde Green Beans.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • 1/2 cup roasted unsalted nuts, roughly chopped.
  • Salt and Pepper.

 

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil.
  • Add 1 tablespoon salt and the green beans and cook until tender, 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the oil, and nuts.
  • Drain the green beans and transfer them to the bowl.
  • Add salt and pepper and toss it to the mix.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
